    Ten week term? When did we lose a week and go to a nine week term?

    • in 1990 The Board of Trustees approved a new calender in which “future calendars should include exactly 45 days each term, five terms a year”. The Board also stipulated that “efforts should be made to have each term include 9 Mondays, 9 Tuesdays, 9 Wednesdays, 9 Thursdays and 9 Fridays as class days.” It looks like up until that point there were 10 full weeks of classes with only a day or two between terms.
