Last chance to see Cincinnati State Archives Exhibit on Co-op

This is your last chance to see the Cincinnati State Archives exhibit on Cooperative Education at Cincinnati State and in our community, so come check it out if you haven’t already done so. The archives display cases are located within the library, to the left of the entrance.

We will be putting up a new exhibit in April, so stay tuned for more information about that.

In addition to the display case, we also have an online version of our current and past exhibits on our website at http://www.cincinnatistate.edu/archives.

The Archives also invites you to visit our blog at https://cinstatearchives.wordpress.com/ or “like” our Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/csarchives.

Also, if you are able to help identify people, places and events on our Photo Archives at http://www.flickr.com/photos/cinstatearchives, it would be greatly appreciated.

Contact College Archivist Tracey Stivers (x1608) or Assistant Archivist Natalie Draper (x4688) or email archives@cincinnatistate.edu with questions or if you have any materials that you would like to donate.

Facial Hair Friday!

I refuse to except the snow in the forecast for the weekend. So today, in protest, I have sideburns with a side of sandals for you. I’m not sure if sandals are regulation footwear for those working on heavy equipment but who’s going to argue with pork chops like those?

Happy Friday!

Greetings!

One of my favorite things to look for in our photo collection is hair. I may have to put together a slideshow featuring our best hair-dos. These halls have seen them all over the last 40+ years. I personally love the bouffant in this picture. If only my hair were longer.

One question though: do any of these faces seem familiar?

Happy Wednesday folks!

business?

Today I have another great shot from the Michele Imhoff Collection. The photo was in a folder simply labeled “business” with no date. I wonder if anyone knows anything about this photo. Happy Monday folks!

Hello internet friends! I ask for so many favors and I truly appreciate each and every one of you for helping us identify so many of our mystery photos. This gentleman popped up in a box of publicity materials from the Michelle Imhoff collection. These materials date between 1966-1974, and likely would have been inherited by Ms. Imhoff from the desk of her predecessor. Would anyone know who this is in the photo?
