Slideshows!

We have a number of slideshows on the subject of technical education. All of these date around the late 1960s and were presented to prospective Cincinnati State (then CCST) students. Take a look!

Green Eggs and Ham anyone?

As the library posted earlier, Dr. Seuss has a new book coming out soon.  This got me wondering where The Dr. Seuss Collection is located.  His records (about 8,500 items) live at the University of California San Diego.  You can read about the collection here, but you would need special permission to access the records because of their fragile nature.

Worth a read, and a discussion

Check out this article.  Of interest, especially to me, is the bit about the Japanese cellphone novel trend, keitai shosetsu.

Do you know me?

I am trying to identify this event and some of the attendees.  The year is 1969–great outfit on the young woman, no?
